[00:00:00]

Organizational toxicity creates the conditions for corporate trauma to take root.

[00:00:05]

Think of it like the water you're swimming in. You may not realize it's murky until you get out. Gossip, fear-based management, impossible standards.

[00:00:17]

That's all organizational toxicity.

[00:00:19]

Corporate trauma is the systemic erosion of your dignity over time as a result of it. It is what can happen to us when we're submerged in that water long enough.

[00:00:33]

The sad thing is that many people don't realize that they're experiencing it or have experienced it until they're out or until they're boxed in. Nobody says stop and forces them to pay attention.

[00:00:47]

We shouldn't wait until we're forced out or until we get out to do something about it. This is why I'm on a mission to name it because naming corporate trauma is the start to stopping it.
